Suzy Snoozy Quilting

Starting Suzy Snoozy Quilting has been something I have been thinking about for a long time. Quilting has always been a creative outlet for me, a way to slow down, work with my hands, and create something meaningful from pieces that might otherwise be forgotten.

Over the years, I found myself not just enjoying the process, but really valuing what quilts represent. They are more than fabric and thread. They hold memories, stories, and moments in time. Whether it is a gift, a keepsake, or something made just for comfort, a quilt becomes part of someone’s life.

The name “Suzy Snoozy” came from my husband, who lovingly started calling me that because of how much I value rest and the occasional nap. It stuck, and over time it began to represent something more. To me, it reflects comfort, warmth, and the idea that everyone deserves a cozy space to slow down and recharge.

Starting this business felt like the natural next step. I wanted to help others finish their quilts and bring their projects all the way home. I know how much time and care goes into piecing a quilt, and I want to honor that by providing simple, clean quilting that enhances the piece without overwhelming it.

As I grow Suzy Snoozy Quilting, my goal is to create a service that is approachable, reliable, and rooted in care. I want people to feel confident sending their quilts to me, knowing they will be treated with the same attention and respect I give my own.

More than anything, I hope the quilts I help finish become part of someone’s everyday life. Something they reach for at the end of a long day, during quiet moments, or for their own version of a “snoozy.”
